Ultra Light Speed inner tubes are made for pure speed. Designed to offer the lowest possible rolling resistance, Ultra Light Speed tubes are the fastest and lightest tubes ever developed by Vittoria. They are 70% lighter and 14% faster than standard butyl chambers. They are made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), which offers lower rolling resistance and lighter weight than standard butyl inner tubes. By using Ultra Light Speed inner tubes in both tyres, you can save up to 160 g. This is why Ultra Light Speed tyres are the perfect choice for road cyclists who want maximum speed without sacrificing the convenience and ease of use of an inner tube tyre. Due to their lightness, they require special care during the fitting process. The plastic material they are made of is subject to thermal shock. They are in fact only compatible with disc brake wheels, as the heat generated by the brake pads on the rim can deteriorate the inner tubes. Ultra Light Speed tubes are equipped with a red, Vittoria-branded extendable valve with a removable mechanism. The package also contains a repair patch and a cleaning cloth. Made in Germany, the TPU material of the Ultra Light Speed is 100% recyclable: the valve must be cut from the chamber before disposal.
