Vittoria Corsa Graphene 2.0 tubular

Powered by Graphene 2.0

The Corsa has been the race-day choice of pros for years, and is now better than ever with 4C Graphene compound technology! The latest Corsa is an evolution of the brand, and brings multiple industry-first technologies to market. Starting with supple yet durable 320 TPI Corespun-K reinforced casing, and adding a proprietary mix of 4 different Graphene compounds, the new Corsa achieves the holy grail of performance: speed, suppleness, durability, and reliability. Whether winning a Grand Tour, or a local crit, the Corsa family delivers world class performance.

Graphene 2.0

With the aim to always push the boundaries of what is possible, Vittoria succeeded in the development of a new generation of Graphene: Graphene 2.0. Unlike the first-generation graphene, the new 2.0 graphene is functionalized to enhance specific tyre performances. In other words, where the first generation of graphene compounds raised the bar evenly, Graphene 2.0 pin-points each performance metric, and increases it disproportionally to the rest. Vittoria is now able to apply Graphene in such a way that it can achieve a performance boost specifically for speed, wet grip, durability and puncture resistance.

4C

Vittoria 4C is a layering process, using 4 separate compounds in the same tread. The 4C process offers unmatched versatility, by allowing for separate base and surface compounds, in both the center and side areas of the tread.

Vittoria Tubulars

Often referred to as a "sew-up", the tubular tire is made up by a cloth casing wrapped around an inner tube. The edges of the tubular are sewn along the inside circumference. The rim for such a tire has a mild concavity, and the tire is glued to the rim. The tread of Vittoria tubulars is glued by hand on the casing, a labor-intensive process exclusively used for premium tubulars. The tubular tire’s round profile gives it several advantages over any clincher. Cornering is more predictable and shock absorption is superior. Also, the broad glued interface to the rim spreads shock loads more evenly through the casing, letting the tire absorb big hits without deflecting or slowing down. Vittoria strongly recommends Mastik Pro, offering great adhesion even at high temperatures (up to 140 degrees Celsius).
