Uvex Surge Aero Mips Team Edition helmet

A helmet made by professional cyclists, for professional cyclists

Ascent. Sprint finish. The Uvex surge aero MIPS is the latest high-tech road cycling helmet with aero snap-on coverage, giving you an edge when it's time to race. With effective ventilation and superior safety. The uvex surge aero MIPS sets new standards in terms of aerodynamics, airflow and safety. This high-performance racing helmet was developed in collaboration with professional cyclists from Team Intermarché-Wanty and former professionals from the world of international cycling. An aerodynamic cover, fitted as standard, partially covers the large ventilation openings to significantly reduce aerodynamic drag. For times when ventilation is most important, the aerodynamic cover can simply be removed. This makes it two helmets in one. The multi-mould construction with incorporated foam cage structure provides greater stability. The Mips® Air Node safety system adds an extra layer of safety to the brain. An ultralight, low-friction layer absorbs the rotational and centrifugal forces of an impact. Practical: an integrated sunglass port.

light. safe. reliable. Reduced risk of injury. Lightweight. Additional protection, particularly from oblique impacts to the head. This is what the highly ventilated uvex bike helmets with lightweight Mips® Air Node safety system offer. The low-friction layer attached with breakaway nodes absorbs centrifugal and rotational forces. This reduces the risk of head or brain injury.
