The Microtech upper, the first microfiber introduced into shoes years ago by Sidi, offers a high index of comfort, while the sole is designed for maximum support both on and off the bike.

Soft Closure
The SOFT INSTEP CLOSURE SYSTEM is a wide, anatomically curved strap combined with a soft, thermoformed EVA pad that distributes pressure evenly over the instep area. The SOFT INSTEP CLOSURE SYSTEM is adjustable on both sides to perfectly center the EVA pad on a high or low instep. The system eliminates the need for the High Instep Extender. The SOFT INSTEP CLOSURE SYSTEM is replaceable.

Dial System.
System adjusts the fit along the entire length of the shoe, adapting the upper to the shape of the foot for a customized fit. SIDI's famously reliable and replaceable fasteners are enhanced by a brand new, patented SIDI Wire material that is completely non-binding for intuitive, effortless adjustments on the fly.

Integrated heel support
The HEEL SUPPORT is integrated, newly designed and lightweight, reinforced to prevent deformation after prolonged strain and pressure. Anatomically shaped, it stabilizes the foot while pedaling. Reflex inserts on the heel provide more safety for the athlete on the road, helping to signal the cyclist's presence in low visibility conditions.

MTB SR17 Sole.
Lighter and higher performance, Sidi's new MTB sole is made of nylon with PU (polyurethane) inserts. The tread shape of the sole is specially designed for mountain biking, allows good grip, facilitates the dispersion of mud and provides the right stability. The central insert with the Sidi logo acts as a non-slip and is practical and useful especially for less experienced users. The toe area that is most prone to wear, especially when walking, can be replaced with screws and still offers the possibility of mounting crampons to improve traction on particularly muddy terrain. SR17 represents the ultimate in stiffness for pedaling and flexion for walking.
