Schwalbe Albert Gravity Pro Tl-Easy Addix Soft Rad tyre
The structure of radial tyres
Radial tyres are revolutionising the world of MTB. During development we always asked ourselves the question: how can we make the most of the tyre's limited contact patch?
The basis is the completely rethought carcass construction. The carcass wires, which in conventional bicycle tyres run diagonally across the tyre at an angle of 45°, are arranged at a much more obtuse angle in our radial tyres. This technology opens up a completely new dimension in the functioning of bicycle tyres.
The radial casing allows a larger contact area and filters road bumps much better: more grip, more comfort and more safety+. It literally sucks you into the ground because the tyre deforms more selectively. Optimised radial casing profile: many studs for maximum control and good durability. Safety and control in all situations
