S Soft Terrain
The tread of the Scorpion™ MTB Soft Terrain consists of taller, widely spaced blocks that provide excellent ground penetration and high mechanical and chemical grip, making it perfect even for more aggressive riding styles. The height of the tread blocks and their rigidity favour ground penetration and their own mechanical grip action, guaranteeing excellent behaviour and feeling when braking and in traction as well as excellent support when cornering. The specific spacing of the Scorpion™ Soft Terrain's tread blocks and the formulation of the compound also favour the discharge of material accumulated on the tread at low speeds.

SmartGrip Gravity compound
The SmartGRIP Gravity compound is the racing-ready option in the Scorpion MTB range, a formulation derived from decades of motocross know-how and the valuable advice of former downhill world champions. The result is a softer, tear-resistant compound with greater grip in all weather conditions, excellent grip and control at high speeds with a single-compound formulation. SmartGRIP Gravity is the answer to all bikers who are looking for a reliable tyre for tackling all types of trails in training and racing thanks to its consistent performance over time and in all types of weather conditions.

ProWALL
The ProWALL features a sidewall protection that enhances the puncture resistance and the handling at low inflation pressure. The sidewall is reinforced with an extra layer of nylon that increases the resistance against penetration and cuts while stabilizing the tyre at low inflation pressure for a confident ride over any kind of terrain. The ProWALL is a solid option for XC racing, trail riding and enduro when paired with different carcass constructions, namely of 120 and 60tpi.

Tubeless Ready
Tubeless ready tyres offer the biker many advantages: the possibility of using lower air pressures, which improves traction; lower rolling resistance compared to a tyre with an inner tube; and less chance of a puncture because there is no inner tube. Tubeless ready tyres must be fitted on tubeless compatible rims and require the use of a liquid sealant to maintain pressure. Liquid sealants have the added advantage of sealing small punctures. Be sure to check the sealant regularly and replace it if necessary, as it dries out over time.
