Flame functional design

The flagship of the Moto-Master bike range, the Flame bike brake discs are characterised by a design that is as unique as it is functional.
Available in different diameters (160, 180, 203, 223 mm), the Moto-Master FLAME disc is the perfect solution for riders seeking greater control and modular stopping power.

Design meets performance
It is not only the unique FLAME design that guarantees superior performance, but also the materials from which these discs are manufactured.
The high-quality steel alloy that is used gives the discs unsurpassed friction characteristics and durability.

Maximum control
The flame-shaped holes and outer perimeter ensure an equal contact surface between the brake pad and the brake disc throughout the entire disc rotation.
The uniform contact between the components results in a smooth and more predictable braking action, as well as reduced wear.

Optimum cooling and reduced weight
The orientation of the flame-shaped slots is specially designed so that the slots are aligned with the direction of movement.
This prevents the larger slots from chipping and damaging the brake pads.

Cleaning the disc and pads
The flame-shaped outer perimeter and vent slots overlap to continuously clean the entire surface of the brake pads in contact with the disc, while quickly dissipating heat.

Reduced pad wear
The Flame design ensures that the brake pads are always evenly supported on the braking band.
This prevents the pads from tilting when subjected to high pressures.

Superior finish
Flame brake discs are made from special, high-quality hardened stainless steel using state-of-the-art CNC machines. The friction area is made using laser cutting techniques and subjected to anti-corrosion surface treatments on both sides to achieve exact parallelism. This ensures a precise and controllable braking action with optimal feedback for the rider.
