Met Trenta 3k Carbon Mips Jaune Limited Edition helmet 2025

Tadej Pogačar's triumphant finish on the Promenade will go down in cycling history

This special yellow design of our iconic Trenta 3K Carbon celebrates the incredible success of the unstoppable Slovenian, winner of the Tour de France 2024, having already conquered the Giro d'Italia shortly before. A perfect season, a feat that very few athletes have ever achieved in their career. This limited edition embodies MET's dedication to performance and the hunger for victory of Tadej Pogačar, one of the most talented and determined cyclists of all time. MET Trenta 3K Carbon Mips® is a road helmet with unprecedented levels of performance, winning Le Tour de France, Giro d'Italia, Liège-Bastogne-Liège, Il Lombardia and Le Strade Bianche. Designed to keep your head cool and conserve energy with every pedal stroke, the MET Trenta 3K Carbon Mips® is the most advanced cycling helmet we've ever made, now enhanced with the addition of MIPS AIR®, the lightest and most advanced rotational force management system available.

Mips air® protection system
MET Trenta 3K Carbon MIPS offers maximum performance without compromise when it comes to safety, ventilation and weight. The MIPS AIR® protection system is integrated into the padding, maintaining the distinctive lightness of the Trenta 3K Carbon, with the addition of the most advanced rotational force management system for specific impacts. The MIPS AIR® replaces the classic padding and was developed and designed to be as light as possible.

3K Carbon technology
3K Carbon technology distinguishes this helmet from any other currently on the market. Our R&D team discovered that the elastic modulus of carbon makes it possible to reduce the density of EPS by 20%, without compromising its ability to absorb shocks. The result is a lighter, higher-performance shell that sets a new standard in the construction of the most ventilated road helmets.

NACA slit
Originally developed by NACA (later to become NASA), the characteristic NACA louver design generates an active cooling airflow. Thanks to the Venturi effect, outside air is channelled through the helmet and expelled linearly through the rear vents together with the heat stored inside. This constant airflow does not affect aerodynamic performance, maximising performance and ventilation.

Rear vents
The rear of the Trenta 3K Carbon has a great impact on aerodynamics and air recirculation inside the helmet. The design features two large vents and a deflector inclined precisely at 25°, the optimal position to facilitate the passage of air and offer maximum ventilation even on the toughest climbs.

Tubular tail
The tubular tail is designed with aerodynamic criteria in mind: it works in synergy with the NACA slit and the rear deflector to channel the airflow. It has a lower profile at the rear, developed through specific wind tunnel tests in the NEWTON laboratory in Milan.

Contact surface
The inner fit of the MET Trenta 3K Carbon MIPS is exceptionally comfortable and designed so that only 30% of the helmet is in contact with the head. This allows the remaining 70% to benefit from the airflow that is channelled through the internal cavities, keeping the head cool at high and low speeds.

Goggle slits
The two front slits are designed to provide a secure place to insert sunglasses, whether climbing or at rest. A thin rubbery coating ensures the necessary stability to hold the goggles in place.

Adjustment system
SAFE-T ORBITAL with 360° adjustment ring, 4 possibilities of vertical adjustment, 2 possibilities of occipital adjustment and compatibility with cropped hair

The UAE team helmet
MET Trenta 3K Mips® is the helmet most frequently used by the UAE Emirates Team as it is incredibly versatile. Perfectly ventilated to cope with the hottest conditions under stress and at the same time aerodynamic thanks to wind tunnel development. Add to this the Mips® safety, and the Trenta 3K Carbon Mips® is the most complete racing helmet ever.

USB led light
Automatic night mode, water-resistant and rechargeable via USB.

Technology

MIPS Brain Protection

MIPS is a low friction layer inside the helmet which allows the head to rotate relatively to the helmet in an angled impact. This substantially reduces rotational violence and the potential for damage to the brain. Collaborating with some of the world's leading neurosurgeons and experts, MIPS® has established that when you fall, your head most often hits the ground at an angle, creating a rotational shock to the brain. This rotational shock can cause strain in your brain. A helmet with MIPS® absorbs much of that rotational energy, offering you better protection. And if, against all the odds, you do fall vertically onto your head, a helmet with MIPS® will protect you just as well as an ordinary helmet.
