Met Manta Mips Jaune Limited Edition helmet
Tadej Pogačar's triumphant finish on the Promenade will go down in cycling history
This special yellow design of the iconic Manta Mips celebrates the incredible success of the unstoppable Slovenian, winner of the Tour de France 2024, having already conquered the Giro d'Italia shortly before. A perfect season, a feat that very few athletes have ever achieved in their career. This limited edition embodies MET's dedication to performance and hunger for victory in Tadej Pogačar, one of the most talented and determined cyclists of all time. The new Manta Mips expresses maximum sportiness in every detail, a characteristic representative of MET's aesthetic and contemporary designs. This great intensity of expression is developed around the needs of professional cyclists, enhancing four fundamental aspects: safety, aerodynamics, comfort and style. Inspired by its predecessor, it is even more high-performance and cutting-edge.
Aerodynamics
The Manta Mips is more aerodynamic than its predecessor thanks to the new low-profile tubular tail. Developed this characteristic design in collaboration with the Newton wind tunnel laboratory in Milan.
Comfort
Met focused on perfecting fit and comfort. The new Manta Mips is also exceptionally comfortable. The 360° adjustment ring ensures no uncomfortable pressure points and the internal fit is inspired by the award-winning MET Trenta 3K Carbon.
Adjustment system
SAFE-T ORBITAL with 360° adjustment ring, 4 vertical adjustment possibilities, 2 occipital adjustment possibilities and compatibility with cropped hair.
Ventilation
To promote aerodynamics, the helmet shell is almost completely closed. However, thanks to the NACA louvre and internal air ducting, Manta maintains excellent ventilation and ensures a continuous air flow over the head. All this without negatively influencing aerodynamics.
Fidlock® Magnetic Buckle
The Fidlock® magnetic fastener makes fastening the helmet quick and easy. A very important aid for the triathlete when changing specialities.
Eyewear slits
MET Manta Mips has two side vents where you can easily store your glasses during the toughest climbs or coffee breaks.
Safety
MET takes your safety very seriously. An example? All production batches of the new Manta Mips are tested in our in-house laboratory using the most stringent quality control methods. In addition, we add the MIPS-C2® brain protection system to dissipate rotational forces caused by specific impacts, completing the safety of the helmet in all its aspects.
Dual gel
Gel front padding, comfortable and built to last.

Technology
MIPS Brain Protection
MIPS is a low friction layer inside the helmet which allows the head to rotate relatively to the helmet in an angled impact. This substantially reduces rotational violence and the potential for damage to the brain. Collaborating with some of the world's leading neurosurgeons and experts, MIPS® has established that when you fall, your head most often hits the ground at an angle, creating a rotational shock to the brain. This rotational shock can cause strain in your brain. A helmet with MIPS® absorbs much of that rotational energy, offering you better protection. And if, against all the odds, you do fall vertically onto your head, a helmet with MIPS® will protect you just as well as an ordinary helmet.
