Merida ONE-TWENTY 300 V1 bike

Open up new trails - and ride like you're never ridden before. The ONE-TWENTY 300 marries amazing value with a high-performance 130 mm travel aluminium frame, making it the perfect introduction to full-suspension mountain biking. P-FLEX suspension keeps maintenance down but fun and control at a maximum, with adjustable SR Suntour shocks taming the bumps. The Shimano CUES drivetrain gives precise yet durable shifting, hydraulic disc brakes give stopping power you can rely on, and dropper post gives you extra control on tough descents.

The ONE-TWENTY is a bike that doesn't need to be shoehorned into a category. Short travel trail, downcountry - call it whatever you want, but this is a fun mountain bike for doing fun mountain bike things. Light enough to climb all day but planted on the descents - and the perfect balance everywhere else. Whether you're into flowing singletrack sessions or big mileage in the mountains, the ONE-TWENTY is do-it-all Swiss Army Knife of a bike. High-value, high-quality LITE aluminium frame is paired with proven P-FLEX flexstay suspension design, keeping maintenance needs low, but performance high. They also used progressive geometry concept but tweaked it to suit a fun, short-travel machine and, thanks to the AGILOMETER sizing concept from award-winning ONE-SIXTY and ONE-FORTY range, you can pick stable or agile handling independently of bike fit. The hardest part will be getting the smile off your face.

Technologies

Prolite 66 Triple butted aluminum
Proven high-end aluminum (6066) is extremely lightweight and strong. Using triple butted wall thicknesses and hydroforming technology, aluminum tubes can be fine-tuned to provide the best possible stiffness-to-weight ratio.

HFS - Hydro Forming System
Tubes are inserted into negative molds and a hot emulsion of water and oil is forced under pressure, enabling them to form complex shapes.

X-TAPER Headtube
The X-Tapered headtube provides space to mount a tapered fork. Tapered forks offer exceptional stiffness and precision and provide confidence-inspiring steering.

Smooth welding
Sometimes called "double pass welding," a second pass on the weld gives the frame a clean, organic look. At first glance, you'll be convinced it's carbon.

Internal cable routing
Cables are routed through the frame, going in and out through smooth sockets. The bike has a clean look, while the cables are protected from moisture and dirt.

NON-Slip Tightening
Selected bolts can be tightened on one side only, without running the risk of the opposite side slipping or rotating, allowing faster and more direct tightening of important hardware components.

P-Flex
The yielding nature of the material and the specific shaping of the tubes allows the frame to flex near the junction of the saddle and chainstay, making a pivot point obsolete. By not mounting a pivot point at the junction of the saddle and chainstay, we save weight and add rigidity.

Wire Port
MERIDA has designed covers that allow all control cables to enter the frame through the headset, creating a clean, uncluttered appearance without making structural changes to the frame. Depending on the model, the cables pass completely inside (including bar and stem) or semi-integrated where the cables enter the frame under the stem.

Long fender
ONE-FORTY and ONE-SIXTY can mount an elegantly integrated and removable full-length rear fender that provides the rider with excellent protection from dirt and water spray from the rear wheel. This is in addition to the standard short fender, which helps protect the main pivot and cables, prolonging their life.
