The eONE-FORTY is the "little sister" of the award-winning eONE-SIXTY, winner of numerous tests, but when it comes to providing agile trail handling with superb flow and fun, it’s second to none. Equipped with the powerful but refined EP8 drive unit from Shimano and with the 630 Wh or 750 Wh battery; perfectly integrated into the frame, it is the perfect partner for all kinds of adventures. Balanced geometry paired with a mixed 29er/27.5" wheel configuration that offers fun for riders of all abilities, while the perfect angle of the column increases climbing capacity, something ideal for an all-day e-bike mission. The low bottom and lower reach mean greater safety, while the 140 mm front wheel travel and 133 mm rear wheel travel offer control, comfort and great capabilities on rough terrain.

Technologies

HFS - HYDRO FORMING SYSTEM
The tubes are inserted into negative molds and a hot emulsion of water and oil is forced under pressure, allowing them to form complex shapes.

X-TAPER HEADTUBE
X-Tapered steering tube offers space for a conical fork to be mounted. Conical forks offer exceptional rigidity and precision, and provide confidence-inspiring steering.

SMOOTH WELDING
Sometimes called "double-pass welding", a second pass on the weld gives the frame a clean and organic look. At first glance, you’ll be convinced it’s carbon.

INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING
The cables are routed through the frame, entering and exiting through smooth sockets. The bike looks clean, while the cables are protected from moisture and dirt.

SMART ENTRY
Brake cables, brake housing and hose are tightened under tension to prevent clinking when roads or paths become rough. All inputs are fully interchangeable to handle Di2, hydraulic pipes, brake cables and gearbox cable sheaths, etc.

DI2 READY
The bikes/frames with the "Di2 Ready" symbol are designed for installation of Di2 technology by mounting the battery in the seat or inside the fork.

RACELITE 61 ALUMINIUM
We use 6061 aluminium. The advantage is that you can make lighter and more advanced frames. We use additional heat treatment and double thickness wall thicknesses to produce light and rigid frames.

K-MOUNT
Integrated support on the horizontal sheath to mount a MERIDA tripod.

CASTING MOTOR BRACKET
Sophisticated shape only possible thanks to fusion technology, creating an integrated look and extremely strong connection between the motor and the electric bike frame for improved performance and reliability.

INTERNAL BLOCK
Introdotta per la prima volta nella nostra NINETY-SIX 2015, la nuova versione del "blocco interno" è incorporata direttamente nel telaio e impedisce alla corona della forcella di colpire il telaio in caso di incidente o angolo di sterzata estremo. Come protezione extra, sul telaio sono presenti paraurti in gomma aggiuntivi per evitare danni al telaio causati dalla corona della forcella.

ENERGY GUARD TWIST
Meccanismo Twist Lock che si trova all'estremità superiore del coperchio della batteria "Energy Guard", per un facile bloccaggio e sbloccaggio del coperchio protettivo della batteria interna.
