Limar Air Speed helmet is the first model born of Limar Air Revolution
Also developed in collaboration with the Astana Pro Team, it was the best at an average speed of 40 km / h, during the comparative tests carried out in the Magny-Cours wind tunnel in France. Twelve air vents and three longitudinal ducts that channel the outflow of hot air flow and speed it, allowing a better and immediate internal cooling, to keep the head cool throughout the duration of the performance. Its aerodynamics and compact design, with an attractive shape and tapered lines, make it a helmet to be used even in everyday outings. It is supplied with magnetic buckle.

More aerodynamics than ever: developed and projected with Team Astana, the Air Speed has been tested with other helmets to check the aerodynamic resistance inside the Wind Tunnel in Magny-Cours, in France, turning out to be the best at an average speed of 40 km/h. AIR SPEED gets record values referring to the aerodynamic resistance coefficient, fruit of our continuous research to overcome new limits in terms of performance, safety and reliability.
Beyond wind tunnel
Studies have proved that about 20% of the aerodynamic drag depends on the bicycle used during competitions, while the remaining 80% is due to the athlete’s position on the saddle. The helmet is therefore the fundamental element to minimize the frontal area and to determine a better aerodynamic penetration.
Extreme ventilation
12 air vents and 3 longitudinal channels allow a faster extraction of hot air, granting an immediate cool effect in the head and even during long performances. Aerodynamics and compact, with a very nice shape and attractive line as if drawn by the wind.
Best comfort
Thanks to the head adjustment system AIR FIT SYSTEM, light and compact with both vertical and horizontal adjustment, in perfect connection with straps, for a really comfortable and safe fitting. Supplied with Fidlock magnetic buckle and soft, washable and non-allergenic pads.
Mips Air
Mips Air is a rotational management system developed and designed to be the lightest system possible to help reduce rotational energies otherwise transferred to the head during an impact or crash. The Mips Air technology is integrated into the padding of the helmet and enables and 10-15mm of relative movement between the energy absorbing layer and the padding. The relative movement of the Mips Air is enabled by having a backing of polycarbonate PC with a special low friction treatment and being held by specifically designed fixations enabling movement in all directions. By being integrated into the padding, the system is as light as it gets and designed to fit each specific helmet and size, barely being visible to the user and adding only limiated weight to the helmet.
