DT Swiss H 1900 Spline 29" Disc Center Lock Boost wheelset
When motor assistance and leg power meet, the range of terrain a bike can conquer grows almost exponentially. The H 1900 SPLINE is designed for this, now upgraded with the famous DT Swiss Ratchet technology. The Ratchet LN system distributes the combined forces from the rider and the motor over a larger area than the previous pawl freehub systems, increasing the systems’ durability thanks to lower load peaks. The 370 hub enables full power transmission to the ground with reinforced hybrid spokes laced to a resistant aluminum rim, available in two inner widths.
Freehub Body
The cassette interface of the freehub body is optimized with a specific hardened steel for the higher loads that occur on eMTBs.
Ratchet LN
First wheel equipped with the Ratchet LN system, for force distribution over a larger area, increasing durability.
Spokes
DT Hybrid 1 spokes are reinforced and increase the lateral and torsional stiffness of the wheel.

Technologies
Tubeless
Tubeless tires have a number of advantages over the conventional combination of tube and tire: without risking snakebites, the tire can be run with lower pressures providing better grip. The lower pressure also results in a more comfortable ride. Eliminating the tube means there is no friction between tube and tire and therefore less rolling resistance when the tire rolls over the ground and obstacles. If tubeless sealant is used, the tire can self-seal stings and small cuts. A big advantage for all those who like to ride long and far from the next bikeshop.
Engagement Angle
The engagement angle is the maximum degree that the freehub body can rotate until the teeth of the freehub system engage and accelerate the hub. This angle is calculated by dividing 360º by the number of engagement points of the freehub system.
Ratchet LN
Simultaneous engagement of the ratchets over a wide contact area distributes loads evenly for outstanding reliability. The modularity of the hub allows easy adjustment of the engagement angle as well as its freehub body. Ratchet LN allows DT Swiss hubs with pawl systems to be upgraded to Ratchet Systems. In order to make the conversion from pawl freehub system to the Ratchet LN system possible, the freehub system seal is placed on the freehub body and not on the hub shell like on the other Ratchet Systems. The Ratchet LN upgrade kit makes it possible to convert DT Swiss pawl hubs to the beloved freehub Ratchet System. With just a few simple steps, it is possible to incorporate the benefits of Ratchet Systems, such as the outstanding reliability and adaptability of the engagement angle, in existing DT Swiss pawl system hubs.
Bearing
DT Swiss hubs are designed to function optimally once installed in a bicycle. To achieve this, the clamping force created by the wheel mounting system must be taken into account when constructing a hub. Learn how to ensure the optimal rotating property of the ball bearings and discover why DT Swiss does not offer hubs with adjustable bearing clearance. In order for a bearing to rotate, there must be a certain amount of play in the thousandth of a millimeter range. Without this clearance, the bearing cannot rotate. Bearing play occurs both radially and axially. Axial clearance describes how far one bearing ring can be displaced longitudinally relative to the other without load. Radial clearance is measured vertically to the center axis of the bearing.
Pro Lock
DT Pro Lock is a process where a dual compound, adhesive liquid is injected into the nipple thread, allowing for extremely durable wheel builds. By threading the nipple onto the spoke the adhesive is activated and starts to harden. Re-truing the wheel is still possible after the adhesive has hardened completely, with only a minimal decrease of its thread-lock function. DT Pro Lock nipples prevent the spoke-nipple connection from loosening. Wheel durability improves up to 20 times compared to non DT Pro Lock builds. Suitable for either hand or machine built wheels. Use of grease or oil not recommended, all DT Swiss nipples are available with and without DT Pro Lock.
