Create your own personal Colnago bicycle, fully customised to your needs and desires. Unleash your creativity and watch your dreams come to life. Features
Frame
The C68 is the pinnacle of the evolution of Colnago history, it’s the lug construction at its extreme development, it’s where 68 years of frame design meet the future. C68 is simply the new milestone.
Handlebar
Usually integrated handlebars are built using several pieces of carbon glued together, either on the drops or on the stem. However the Colnago CC.01 is made in a single piece, completely monocoque, advantageous to both saving weight and increasing rigidity.
Bottom bracket
The C68 now boosts a revised bottom bracket, with the switch from our previous TF82.5 to a more "standard" and easy to find T47. The system works the same way, with an oversized bb shell and internal bearings housed in alloy threaded cups. You can assemble your C68 with a standard BB from Sram and Campagnolo, while you can use premium products such as CeramicSpeed, Chris King and many other offerings for compatibility with Shimano 24mm axles.
Steering tube
The new split head tube is now stronger, lighter and more customisable than ever. The parts have been reduced from 8 (C64) to 6, thus saving weight (less gluing area) and machining/gluing time.
Fork
Completely redesigned, it is stiffer and stronger and weighs 40 grams less. The C68 fork has been completely redesigned, with an external rib to offer the rider greater comfort (front stiffness) but also to increase ride quality (lateral stiffness).
Seatpost
Based on the shape of the V3Rs seatpost, the semi-truncated teardrop shape adds a bit of aerodynamic performance while offering better vertical compliance than the previous 31.6mm round seatpost.
Saddle
The following variants are proposed for this model: Prologo Scatch M5 Ti, Selle Italia SLR Boost and Prologo Scratch M5 CPC.
Bottom bracket
Designed on the basis of the tried and tested ThreadFit82.5, which is basically a PressFit with removable bottom bracket sleeves, the bottom bracket lug is now more complex than ever. The cable grommet, which used to be a bolt-on plastic part, is now moulded into the lug to save grams and to offer the widest possible radius for the best shifting performance.
Wheels
The following variants are proposed for this model: Shimano Dura-Ace C50, Zipp 303 Firecrest and Campagnolo Bora Ultra WTO.
Tyre
P ZERO™ Race TLR is crafted to pack all the benefits of tubeless technology into a race-ready all-rounder which outperforms all cycling tyres created before, tubulars included.
