If you have a keen eye, you will have noticed the lines running down the arms of professional racers when they compete in TTs. These aerodynamic ribs are the Bolero sleeves. The ribs create aerodynamic bands, making the Aero Jerseys and San Remo Speedsuits even faster. Castelli has incorporated this short-sleeved version into a base layer for road racing. Not only will you be faster, but the open mesh of the base layer will keep you cool and dry.
