Designed with a large 3.4-inch display, the Rider S800 utilises MIP (Memory In Pixel) technology combined with an optimised internal reflection layer for an enhanced outdoor viewing experience without on-screen shadows. Ambient light sensor | Suitable for all conditions
Using the integrated ambient light sensor, the Rider S800 will automatically adjust the brightness according to the detected light conditions. During indoor rides, passing through a tunnel, under trees, etc., the backlight automatically becomes brighter, ensuring optimal screen brightness anytime, anywhere!

Group Ride
Cycling is always better with friends! The Bryton Active app allows you to select your route, invite friends and stay up-to-date on the real-time status of everyone on the route. The current distance, speed and direction of each cyclist is displayed individually, as well as if a group member is off-route or misses a signal. Furthermore, with the Bryton Active app, setting up a group ride is as easy as pressing a button.

Want to send a message to the group, let someone know about a stop, or simply cheer on another rider? With the Rider S800 or Bryton Active app, you can send messages to other cyclists quickly and safely during a group ride with the Group Chat function. Customise predefined messages on the Bryton Active app to send quick replies directly from your device or type in a customised message on the app at the next stop. In addition, using the voice input, you can create customised hands-free messages during your ride.

Voice Search
Bryton Rider S800 speaks all languages! Thanks to its internet connection, the Rider S800 eliminates the need for on-screen keyboards by providing Google's online voice search, available in over 100 languages - a faster, more intuitive and comprehensive way to search for addresses or POIs while out on the road, on the trails or wherever you are!

Cycling dynamics support
Equipped with cycling dynamics support, power training and power data analysis has been taken to the next level. After pairing pedals with compatible power trackers, the Rider S800 can display static and graphical data on grid info pages, including sit/stand position, power phase (PP), platform centre offset (PCO) and right/left balance, all on the Rider S800's large, dynamic display.

OpenStreetMaps and POIs
The Rider S800 is preloaded with OSM (OpenStreetMaps) maps and supports an enhanced zoom level of up to 16 levels. A wide range of POIs are displayed on the device's map, including bicycle shops, hospitals, rest stops, toilets, etc., and a brief description is provided when a POI is selected. The OSM maps included with the Rider S800 have also been enhanced to show MTB routes and other useful information for off-road disciplines.

Advanced training functions
With a new graphical workout overview with zoom support and new advanced features, such as real-time intensity adjustment, TrainingPeaks compatibility, a new flexible workout mode and the ability to add notes (via the Bryton Active app or TrainingPeaks), training on the Rider S800 just got even better! You can view your training progress, customisable power zones and more, all with a vivid graphical interface!

Advanced routing functions
When you leave the route you're on, the Rider S800 will connect to your smartphone and redirect you back to your original route. You can also reverse a saved route to swap start and end points, as well as retrace a route still in progress to return to the starting point along the same route.

Smart Indoor Trainer
Equipped with powerful new features and a wide range of integrations, the Rider S800 brings the thrill of the trail to your indoor smart trainer! Thanks to compatibility with ANT+ FE-C smart trainers, the Rider S800 can communicate with your indoor smart trainer to control its endurance or power (endurance/power target), simulate virtual personalised workouts (smart training) or simulate a route (virtual cycling).

Navigation with turn-by-turn information
It doesn't matter if you're exploring new terrain or following a downloaded route: the Rider S800 is the ideal companion for your outings and offers advanced navigation and guidance data, including routes (when connected to Bryton Active), points of interest and summits (customisable via Bryton Active) and distance and turn direction information, all on pre-loaded European OSM (OpenStreetMap) maps.

Virtual cycling
Discover endless possibilities in the comfort of your own home with the Virtual Pedalling function. Thanks to ANT+ FE-C compatibility, the Rider S800 works seamlessly with most smart trainers and can simulate routes recorded by the Bryton Active app. These converted routes can reproduce different gradients to better emulate the on-road experience.

Unleash your adventurous side!
Leave no stone unturned with the Rider S800's new Explore function that lets you experience and explore the world on two wheels like never before. Simply select the distance you want to travel and let the Rider S800 guide you! By generating up to three unique routes from your current location, the Rider S800 lets you explore the unknown and bring you home!

Smart training
The Rider S800 allows you to easily create virtual customised smart trainer workouts from home! Workout programmes can be designed with the Bryton Active app and downloaded directly to your device. With ANT+ FE-C support, the Rider S800 communicates with the smart trainer to simulate resistance from the training programme.

Climb Challenge
In Track Mode, climb to new heights with the Climb Challenge function. When you start a climb, the Rider S800 will display a dedicated page, giving you a graphical overview of the various segments you have climbed. The Climb Challenge screen also features a summary of all climbs on the route, a division into brightly coloured segments, distance, altitude, elevation gain, and start and end points, providing easy access to all this information at a quick glance.

Ascent and warning data
After setting up a route with Climb Challenge, you can view upcoming climbs, start/end climb distance, current/start/end altitude, elevation countdown, remaining distance, grade, altitude, and more directly from the Rider S800's Climb page! Also, as you follow a route and approach a climb, the Rider S800 by default automatically switches between the Info Grid and Ascent pages to prepare for the upcoming elevation change.

Customising the Ascent
When creating or importing a route, the Bryton Active app automatically generates climb data for Bryton, Strava, Komoot or any other third-party route imported into the app, creating a Climb Challenge compatible route for the Rider S800. After reviewing the route, you can choose to further customise these climbs by adjusting the total amount, range of climbs, start/end points and more via the Bryton Active app!

Live Track
Share your location in real time with friends and family using the new Bryton Live Track function. Simply generate a share link directly from your smartphone and share it on any messaging app. With the Live Track link, anyone can follow you from the web and see not only your real-time position, but also your current speed, travel time, route time, distance and time of last update!

Radar compatibility
The Rider S800 supports ANT+ Radar after a simple pairing. On the Info Grid page, the radar strip shows approaching vehicles, using the Rider S800's vivid colour screen to easily display vehicle icons, as well as including 3 levels of alerts with audio notifications.

Smart Notifications
No more worrying about missing important calls, emails or messages during training. The Rider S800 alerts you whenever you receive calls, emails or messages thanks to simple pairing with your smartphone via Bluetooth.

Synchronise with the Bryton app
Take advantage of seamless over-the-air synchronisation on Bryton Active. Routes can be automatically synced via Bluetooth from the Rider S800 to the Bryton Active app, where you can view progress and graphical analysis, and from where you can share routes on social media. Furthermore, using the Bryton Active app, you can synchronise and plan your workouts, download planned routes and more. In addition, after a simple set-up, STRAVA, TrainingPeaks, Selfloops and Relive Auto Sync from your Bryton Active account make it easy to share activities and compare with millions of people.

Auto Sync with STRAVA, TrainingPeaks and Selfloops
You can compete with cyclists from around the world through the data recorded by the Rider S800. Training files are automatically saved in FIT format and can be uploaded to the most popular training sites (no software is required to convert the files). It's also very easy to synchronise activities from the Bryton Active app with Strava/TrainingPeaks/Selfloops/Relive/Today's Plan by pairing the accounts. The Rider S800 also supports professional training apps like GoldenCheetah for detailed post-workout analysis.
