Assos Triator SS 2021 body

Assos road cycling experience applied to multi-sport competitions has resulted in this short-sleeved leotard, designed with integrated ice pockets, second-skin speed and full-body support for total comfort and maximum performance during the longest and most demanding races.
This version features ice pockets along the upper front and back panels, full zip and enhanced UV protection thanks to the short sleeve design.
These details were developed by testing our prototypes with multiple Ironman champions, athletes who are familiar with the essentials of staying cool, comfortable and supported for hours on end.

Features

• The upper part of the leotard is made of the stretchy, ultra-light Cube fabric, already proven in road cycling.
• Its three-dimensional structure is compact and windproof, and the fabric dries exceptionally quickly.
• The underside is made from our Type.701kompressor fabric: a highly compressive orthogonal fabric that provides constant support for muscles and comfort without friction on the skin for the duration of physical exertion.
• Round neckline and wide armholes, double-slider zip and V-shaped panel with Falken cut: all this cancels out any restrictions on the upper body, guaranteeing maximum comfort while swimming, cycling and running.
• The lower part features a modified two-panel ergoBox structure with "butterfly" design, built specifically for the TRIATOR aerodynamic pad.

Technologies

Ice Pockets

Tactically placed on the upper back and chest, these flat pockets keep ice safe without compromising aerodynamics.

Dual Pockets

Two pockets with mesh fastening straps on the lower back that are easily accessible while pedalling and running, for stable and secure storage.

Double-Slider Zipper

This full-length double-slider zip makes it easy to regulate temperature and take quick breaks dictated by natural needs.

Raw-Cut

Raw-cut design, without hems, that wraps around the arms and thighs, avoiding any possible friction between fabric and skin. Greater comfort and firm hold with less pressure than an elastic band.

TRIATOR Insert

Tri-specific pad with two layers of memory foam of different thickness, 4 mm in the front and 6 mm in the back, to guarantee the perfect balance between flexibility with minimum bulk and targeted support.

3D Waffle

Patented three-layer perforated foam that increases breathability and eliminates excess weight.

goldenGate

Patented technology that avoids sewing the pad to the side of the shorts, offering a more three-dimensional freedom of movement in this delicate part subject to rotational movements.
