Repente Quasar 2.0 CR saddle Test

TEST SADDLE, it's possible to rent the saddle to test it.  Rent conditions are:

• The customer has to purchase the saddle like another normal saddle.
• The test time is 14 days (from the date the customer will receive the saddle until the date of the shipping to us, we'll consider the shipper tracking history), after this period the customer can't return the saddle and will be the owner.
• The saddle has to be returned intact. We are aware that testing it can be dirty ecc ecc (this is considered wear and not breakeage of the product)
• Returning the saddle in the terms described above the customer will be refunded of the value of the saddle excluding the shipping cost.(practically the only cost the customer has to support for this test-rent are the shipping costs for the outward and and return to us of the item)
• Please note that the saddle can be added to an order of other material.

Carbon rail and EVA padding: Quasar becomes ultralight

Extra carbon fibre, extra light weight. Quasar CR 2.0 is the ultralight version of this successful 142 mm saddle. What makes a difference compared to the standard model are the new rail and the padding: in the CR 2.0 version the rail is entirely made of UD T700 carbon fibre. Thanks to this substantial innovation and to the EVA padding, the total weight has dropped to just 129 grams. The new Quasar CR is among the lightest padded seats world-wide. Carbon fibre is also present in the shell in the form of long fibres (LCF technology), which further strengthen the PA12 structure. Ever since its debut, Quasar has been chosen by many male and female road and off-road specialists. Among them, there are several racers and professional athletes. Dimensions
The saddle measures 260 mm x 142 mm. The “smart length» of 260 mm ideally compromises between the necessary freedom of movement for the cyclist and, at the same time, a highly ef-fective support when pushing. In line with the most common industry standards, the Quasar CR 2.0 rail section is 7x9 mm.

Seat
The seat inspiration is a «flat» design. The saddle has a central opening for relieving pressure in the perineal area. The wide rear support surface has been modelled according to the anatomical and ergonomic requirements of Repente's signature Close Fit design: the marque's iconic shaping that ensures seat comfort without having to use thick layers of padding.

Padding
The padding is in Super lightweight Eva. The water-based PU microfibre cover has an anti-slip function: it allows the most effective pedalling position to be easily maintained, without however hindering free movement on the saddle.

Shape
The shape of the front, tapered at the tip, has been modelled to allow an easy transition from the sitting position to the sprinting position and back.
